Lissia Vathi

Associate

Lissia is an Associate in KRB’s Litigation group. Her practice focuses primarily on civil, commercial and real estate litigation, having gained valuable experience in these matters while previously working for several years at a boutique litigation and business law firm. As part of her practice, Lissia has been called to plead and conduct representations before different courts and judicial instances of Quebec. As a litigator, she favours a pragmatic and cost-effective approach to conflict resolution.

A graduate of the University of Montreal’s Faculty of Law, Lissia was awarded the prize for the best master’s thesis in Quebec by the Association des professeures et professeurs de droit du Québec (A.P.D.Q.) for her thesis entitled “L’obligation de résidence chez l’employeur imposée aux travailleurs agricoles et domestiques migrants au Canada : une atteinte à leur droit constitutionnel à la liberté”. Throughout her graduate studies, she worked as a research assistant and has written articles on private international family law.
