Leandra Paoloni

Associate

Leandra is an Associate in KRB’s Real Estate Group. She regularly advises clients in respect of a wide array of transactions, whether industrial, commercial or multi-residential assets, and has acquired experience in all facets of transactional law from drafting and negotiating letters of intent and purchase agreements, to due diligence, corporate and partnership structuring, closing coordination and financing, as well as commercial leasing.

Prior to joining the firm as an Articling Student in 2021, she completed her civil law degree at the University of Ottawa, where she graduated with magna cum laude honors, and participated in multiple extracurricular activities throughout her studies, including as a member of the Business Law Association. Leandra gained practical experience working at a large national firm in the corporate/commercial group and notarial firms specializing in residential real estate. Prior to pursuing a career in law, she obtained a bachelor’s degree from McGill University specializing in psychology and political science.

Acted for a prominent Quebec real estate investor and developer in its acquisition of a shopping center complex

Acted for two highly active Quebec real estate developers in their strategic acquisitions of office buildings situated in the heart of Downtown Montreal and the City of Westmount

Regularly acts as counsel for a Canadian real estate investment trust in expanding their extensive property portfolio and subsequent leasing needs

Regularly acts as counsel for a Canada-wide property management firm in connection with the drafting and negotiating of commercial and industrial leases

Acted for a financial institution with respect to lending credit facilities for the development of a multi-phase condominium project in Quebec City
