Kristina A. Fundaro

Associate

Kristina is an Associate in KRB’s Banking and Finance group. Her practice focuses on banking, commercial, and real estate financing. She represents lenders and borrowers in a variety of secured lending transactions, including asset-based financings, real estate transactions, syndicated loans, and share acquisition financings. Her experience includes transactions in Quebec, across Canada, and internationally.

Recognized for her diligence, pragmatism, and business-oriented approach, she delivers practical legal solutions that safeguard her clients’ interests while ensuring the efficient and successful completion of their transactions.

Kristina earned her LL.B. from the University of York, graduating with honours. She first joined KRB as a Paralegal, later completing her articles with the firm in 2022. Before beginning her legal career, she volunteered at a legal clinic and completed an internship at a Montreal corporate services firm.

Representative Work

  • Acted on behalf of a full-service distribution company offering turnkey solutions to enable sports and lifestyle brands in Canada to grow their businesses, in connection with the amendment of a syndicated loan to finance current operations and fund the expansion of its U.S. operations.
  • Acted on behalf of a private equity group in connection with the acquisition of all the issued and outstanding shares of two food distribution companies involved in the processing and distribution of meat products.
  • Acted on behalf of a global leader in urban beekeeping and sustainability-focused solutions in connection with two separate financing transactions from different lenders to support its international expansion and continued investment in innovation.
