Vincent Robert

Associate

Vincent is an Associate in KRB’s Real Estate group whose practice focuses primarily on commercial real estate and transactional law. Prior to joining the firm as an Articling Student in 2017, he obtained his degree in civil law from the University of Sherbrooke. During his studies, Vincent was admitted to the cooperative program, which allowed him to complete several internships in-house at a Montreal-based company operating in the bio-refineries and renewable energy sectors with activities in Alberta, the United States and Europe.

Since being called to the Quebec Bar in 2017, he has worked in close collaboration with clients and senior attorneys at the office to help oversee and manage complex closings and has developed an astute understanding of the importance of process management in real estate and M&A transactions. In addition, Vincent regularly assists KRB’s clients, whether owners or tenants, with the drafting and negotiation of their commercial, industrial and office leases.

Representative Work

Acted on behalf of a major real estate owner and developer in connection with the acquisition of vacant land located in the City of Laval for the purposes of redevelopment

Acted on behalf of an eminent provider of real estate development, design and construction services and its subsidiary in respect of the refinancing by a major Canadian chartered bank of one of its key properties for the purposes of financing the construction of an automobile dealership

Acted on behalf of a Canadian real estate investment fund manager, asset manager and developer in respect of the acquisition and financing of a 167-unit residential apartment complex

Acted on behalf of a major Canadian chartered bank in connection with the granting of credit facilities to a real estate limited partership for the purposes of reimbursing existing construction and mezzanine loans, and the financing of, through an interest swap option, a 223-unit multi-residential rental building with over 245,000 leasable sq. ft. located in Quebec City
