Simon Ashby

Senior Associate

Simon is a Senior Associate in KRB’s Banking and Finance and Real Estate groups practicing in the area of commercial real estate law with a focus on banking and finance and transactional work. In his practice, he has represented both institutional and private clients and has a broad range of experience in the financing, acquisition, disposition and development of property.

Prior to joining KRB, Simon practiced in the Ottawa office of a prominent national law firm with a focus on commercial real estate. He obtained his law degree at Queen’s University in 2018 before being called to the Ontario Bar in 2019.

Representative Work

Acted in connection with the financing of the acquisition of majority interest of an entity operating in the telecommunications industry responsible for distributing and selling products throughout Canada
