Simon Ashby

Senior Associate

Simon is a Senior Associate in KRB’s Business Law group, practicing in corporate and commercial law with a specialty in commercial real estate law and related banking and finance transactions. In his practice, he has represented both institutional and private clients and has a broad range of experience in financing, acquisition, disposition, and development of property.

Before joining KRB, Simon practiced in the Ottawa office of a prominent national law firm, with a focus on commercial real estate. He obtained his law degree at Queen’s University in 2018 before being called to the Ontario Bar in 2019.

Representative Work

Acted in connection with the financing of the acquisition of majority interest of an entity operating in the telecommunications industry responsible for distributing and selling products throughout Canada
