Roy Cheung

Associate

Roy is an Associate in KRB’s Business Law group, specialized in mergers and acquisitions. He joins the team following the completion of a summer internship and his articles with the firm. Roy advises clients on a range of commercial transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, private equity investments, and debt or equity financings. He works with businesses across various industries to structure transactions, conduct due diligence, and negotiate agreements, always delivering strategic, efficient solutions.

Roy also handles corporate governance, shareholder relations, and corporate financing matters. He has worked on privacy-related matters, gaining a broader perspective on legal and regulatory considerations. His ability to navigate the complexities of business law allows him to offer clients practical advice at every stage of a transaction.

Representative Work

Acted on behalf of Ecovadis, a global leader in business sustainability ratings for supply chains, in its acquisition of Ulula, an international company specializing in real-time feedback technology for labor and human rights conditions in supply chains.

Acted on behalf of Grisspasta Products Ltd. a group of manufacturing companies engaged in the conception, development, and production of dry pasta intended for sale to business customers, in connection with the sale of said companies to an Ontario-based strategic buyer.

Acted on behalf of a British Columbia-based strategic buyer specializing in providing entertainment solutions and services, in connection with its acquisition of La Grande Roue de Montréal, an iconic observation Ferris wheel located in the Old Port of Montreal.
