Rebecca is a Senior Associate in KRB’s Corporate and Commercial/M&A Group whose practice includes M&A, corporate reorganizations, and corporate governance, as well as various commercial transactions and agreements.
Prior to joining KRB, Rebecca spent nearly nine years working in the asset management industry, including as Vice-President of legal and corporate affairs at a leading Quebec asset management firm, where she assisted in various acquisition and sale transactions and advised on general corporate matters. In addition, she was involved in the development of fund structures and products from retail mutual funds to private investment funds. Rebecca was also involved in day-to-day commercial and regulatory matters related to the asset management landscape. Prior to that, she practiced for a number of years in the corporate commercial department of a top-tier national law firm, where she assisted on mergers and acquisitions for both public and private companies, practiced general corporate law, drafted and negotiated commercial agreements, and advised clients on various corporate matters, among other.
Rebecca completed both her common and civil law degrees at McGill University and has been a member of the Quebec Bar since 2007.
