Marie-Eve Lamy


Prior to joining KRB, Marie-Eve earned her credentials as a corporate/commercial lawyer at a top-tier Canadian law firm. While her practice focuses on secured lending and business acquisitions, she also advises her clients on general commercial matters. She regularly represents institutional lenders, and has also advised clients in the real estate, energy, retail drug store, payment processing and entertainment industries, to name a few. Marie-Eve appreciates the importance of, and particularly enjoys, understanding her clients’ business objectives and going beyond the traditional attorney role to help achieve them.

Marie-Eve completed her civil and common law degrees at Université de Montréal and became a member of the Québec Bar in 2010. She also holds a degree in Music Performance from McGill University

Acted on behalf of a development capital investment fund financing a share acquisition.

Acted for a Montreal-based manufacturer in connection with a $20,000,000 asset-based revolving loan.

Acted for an institutional lender in connection with the $5,000,000 financing of an investment fund.

Acted for Ascot Capital Group in connection with the financing of its acquisition of Beghelli Canada Inc.

Acted for an affiliate of Groupe Planete Mobile Inc. in connection with the financing by Roynat Inc. of a share acquisition.

Regularly represents a retail drugstore banner in connection with acquisition of retail pharmacies by its franchisees.
