Marie-Claire Brossoit

Associate

Marie-Claire is an Associate in KRB’s Business Law group. She joined the team as a Summer Student in 2021 and later completed her articles with the firm in the 2022. A graduate of the University of Montreal, Marie-Claire participated in the implementation of a pro bono project and participated in the Business Law and Management Committee’s Case Competition, where her team won an honorable mention.

In her practice, Marie-Claire regularly helps clients navigate their corporate and commercial transactions, including assisting them throughout the due diligence process, drafting transactional documents and coordinating closings. She looks forward to continuing to play an active role in the fast-paced, dynamic environment that is KRB and appreciates the firm’s collaborative approach to the practice.

Acted on behalf of SupremeX Inc., a leading North American manufacturer and marketer of envelopes and growing provider of paper-based packaging solutions, in connection with its USD 1.8M acquisition of Forest Envelope Company, a regional leader in specialty envelope manufacturing located in the Chicago area

Acted on behalf of the owner of a network of infusion clinics in respect of its acquisition of a competitor, enabling it to expand its network of clinics across the Province of Quebec

Acted on behalf of the owner of an educational technology company in the acquisition of a company developing customer-specific product knowledge training content for its customers, enabling it to expand its presence and expertise in this area

Acted on behalf of a network of hearing care clinics across Quebec in respect to the acquisition of a competitor, enabling it to increase its network to a total of 21 clinics across the province of Quebec

Acted on behalf of SupremeX Inc., a leading North American manufacturer and marketer of envelopes and growing provider of paper-based packaging solutions, in connection with its approximately $6M acquistion of Graf-Pak Inc., a manufacturer of folding carton products primarily provided to the food and cosmetics sectors

Acted on behalf of the acquirer of a federally chartered, registered financial services and financial planning brokerage firm, authorized to act as the Managing General Partner (MGA) for numerous notable financial institutions, whose products it distributes through licensed independent financial security advisors throughout Canada
