Chief Paralegal, Financing
Lauren is the Chief Paralegal in KRB’s Banking and Finance Group and specializes in matters of corporate and commercial financing (secured lending) and real estate transactions. She conducts, analyzes and prepares comprehensive due diligence search summaries and is responsible for registering security documents to help ensure the seamless success of financial transactions for KRB’s clients.
Lauren obtained her degree in Paralegal Technology and graduated with distinction from O’Sullivan College in Montreal. With more than seventeen years of experience, she efficiently streamlines complex and multifaceted matters relating to the Register of Personal and Movable Real Rights (RDPRM). Having forged strong relationships with prominent Canadian and U.S. banks and asset-based lenders, borrowers and shareholders in the context of secured lending, Lauren also has experience dealing with various intricacies involving the Quebec Land Register, the Canadian Intellectual Property Office, the Uniform Commercial Code and various Personal Property Security Acts.
