Dominique is a Partner in KRB’s Real Estate group. In joining KRB, she brings with her more than thirty-five years of experience leading national and international transactions across a broad range of practice areas, including commercial and industrial real estate, banking and finance, project development, venture capital funds, corporate/commercial law and M&A, among other.

In recent years, Dominique has been called upon to represent a wide array of clients ranging from businesses and promoters to lenders, lending syndicates and investment funds, with those she counsels benefiting from her years of diversified experience pertaining to equity investment, acquisition and financing transactions in the energy and natural resources industry, wind farm projects, LNG projects, hydro-electric power plants, real estate investment trusts (REITs), retirement homes, commercial condominiums, infrastructure projects and transactions involving surface rights (superficies) and emphyteutic rights, among other.

Prior to joining the firm, Dominique was a Partner in the Business Law group of a prominent Canadian law firm – a team she led as Head of the Business Law group for over half a decade. Dominique’s negotiation and leadership skills, paired with a highly practical and business-first mindset, enable her to synthetize and manage complex legal and transactional issues efficiently, while skillfully leveraging internal resources and coordinating working teams to optimize deal outcomes for clients.

She has been recognized by Best Lawyers Canada as a leader in the Energy sector in 2020, 2021 and 2022 and was named one of the eight most influential women lawyers in Quebec in a special legal edition of the magazine Premières en Affaires. Every year since 2005, she has received a “very high” rating in both legal ability and ethical standards by Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings (BV distinguished rating).

Representative Work

Acted on behalf of Phoenix Partners in the acquisition of all the issued and outstanding shares of Alimentation Dynamic Inc. and Artic Blast MTL Inc. companies involved in the processing and distribution of meat products. Alimentation Dynamic Inc. is best known for distributing products under the “Furca” brand name
