Daniel Prudkov

Associate

Daniel is an Associate in KRB’s Real Estate group. Regularly acting for a wide array of clients ranging from SMEs to institutional lenders, his aim is unequivocal: to make his clients’ goals a reality. Daniel’s focus on pragmatism and critical thinking in a transactional setting allows him to analyze the issues his clients face and to propose practical, efficient solutions. From the beginning of his legal career, he has understood the importance of incorporating his clients’ business objectives into his decision-making process, truly embodying the firm’s approach whereby its attorneys act not only as legal advisors, but additionally offer finely-tuned business counsel.

Daniel first joined KRB in 2019 as a Summer Student and later completed his articles with the firm after having graduated with distinction from the University of Ottawa, where he also founded the university’s Real Estate Law Association.

Outside of work, Daniel holds leadership roles for both social and political initiatives and enjoys volunteering for various charitable organizations.

Acted on behalf of a client in respect of its acquisition of a notable Montreal shopping centre and adjacent office building, representing a total of over 730,000 sq. ft. of retail space and over 100,000 sq. ft. of office space, respectively

Acted on behalf of clients in respect of the acquisition of a high-profile power center located in Moncton, New Brunswick

Acted on behalf of a private real estate company in respect of the acquisition of a 211-unit multi-residential property totaling over 23,000 sq. ft. of retail space on Montreal’s South Shore

Acted on behalf of a major REIT in respect of the sale of an 11-storey multi-residential property as part of a multi-building acquisition

Acted on behalf of a client in respect of a construction financing of the build-out of what is set to be North America’s largest carbon-neutral industrial park, representing a critical step in the context of a larger land assembly, decontamination and industrial development plan

Acted on behalf of leading real estate investment and development entities in respect of the acquisition of an iconic high-rise located within the Downtown Montreal core

Acted on behalf of prominent REIT in respect of the sale of a 14-storey, 394-unit multi-residential property with over 5,000 sq. ft. of leasable ground-floor commercial space

Acted on behalf of Quebec-based real estate developers in respect of the acquisition of a 162-unit residential portfolio located on Montreal’s South Shore from a major Canadian REIT

Acted on behalf of a major Canadian real estate developer in respect of the construction financing of a multi-residential high-rise rental property located in the heart of Downtown Montreal, representing one of the city’s largest active real estate developments in 2022-2023

Acted on behalf of a client in respect of its acquisition of over 3 million sq. ft. of vacant land located in Montreal East, representing an integral part of said client’s land assembly for a future development project and industrial park, including the construction of a new roadway, which required extensive negotiations with the City

Acted on behalf of Camco Realties Inc. and its wholly-owned subsidiaries in the sale of a portfolio of 6 industrial properties comprised of over 767,000 total leasable area sq. ft. to BentallGreenOak and Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada, representing one of Quebec’s largest industrial real estate deals of 2022

Acted on behalf of a subsidiary of a prominent Montreal real estate owner in respect of the acquisition of all issued and outstanding shares of competing entity for the purpose of acquiring both a portfolio of industrial properties located in Laval and over 8 acres of undeveloped land in Montreal’s West Island
