Charles Laplante

Charles is an Associate in KRB’s Real Estate group. He obtained his law degree from the University of Montreal. During his legal studies, Charles was a research assistant in technological civil evidence law, participated in a summer school in comparative private law at the University of Paris Nanterre, and was a student-clinician at the legal clinic of the Faculty of Law, where the quality of his interventions with clients was highlighted. Throughout his academic career, he has received numerous awards in stock market simulations, UN simulations, bill writing competitions and business case competitions.

Before joining the team, Charles worked for several years as a paralegal and legal assistant, mainly in civil and commercial law, both on court files and serving the corporate and transactional needs of SMEs. This experience allowed him to unambiguously confirm his desire to pursue a career as both a lawyer and a business advisor. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in management with an entrepreneurship-intrapreneurship-innovation profile at HEC Montreal.
