Aviad Grunbaum

Partner

Aviad is a Partner in KRB’s Strategic Structuring and Reorganization Group whose practice focuses on advising clients in the mid-market space on a variety of legal matters. He brings a strong business acumen and a practical, solutions-driven approach to his work, which has served our clients well in his primary areas of practice. Aviad deals regularly with mergers and acquisitions transactions, shareholder and partnership agreements, commercial agreements and corporate reorganizations. He also practices real estate law where he represents clients in transactions pertaining to residential, office, commercial and industrial properties.

Called to the Quebec Bar in 2011, he is a member of both the Quebec Bar Association and the Law Society of Ontario. Aviad has earned civil and common law degrees with honors at the University of Ottawa and is also a member of the Lord Reading Law Society. Practicing out of Montreal since 2011, he has had the opportunity to refine his skills, deeply understand the business market and advise on legal and business aspects related to clients’ needs.

Acted for several important privately held Quebec-based companies in connection with implementing corporate reorganizations

Acted for a TSX listed public company in connection with the sale/leaseback of a property in Mississauga, Ontario

Acted for several prominent Montreal-based real estate developers in connection with structuring partnerships for development projects

Acted for Spector & Co., a leading industry supplier of writing instruments, journals and other business gifts to the North American promotional products industry, in connection with the sale of a majority interest to the private equity firm Blue Point Capital Partners

Acted for a leading lighting company in its acquisition of a complementary business

Acted in connection with the reorganization of the Spray-Net group of companies across Canada

Acted for Fronsac Real Estate Investment Trust in connection with the acquisition of a variety of single-tenant properties throughout the province of Quebec

Acted for an out-of-province acquirer in connection with the acquisition of a commercial property in the city of Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, followed by a lease of the property with the vendor

Represented Ascot Capital Group in connection with its acquisition of Beghelli Canada Inc.
