Alan Lee

Associate

Alan is a Canadian Legal Advisor in KRB’s M&A, Corporate and Commercial group specializing in transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, corporate governance, venture capital and general corporate matters. He has represented private equity entities in addition to corporations in the energy, technology (including large-cap and start-up companies) and crypto asset sectors.

Prior to joining the firm, Alan gained experience a national law firm in Calgary, where he worked closely with clients and senior lawyers to successfully execute complex corporate matters, including cross-border and domestic M&A transactions. His experience includes drafting and negotiating transactional documents, conducting due diligence and project management for multidisciplinary deal teams.

Alan completed his legal studies at Queen’s University, where he also participated in the International Business Law program at Bader College. During his final year of law school, he also concurrently completed an LL.M. in International and European Business Law from Trinity College Dublin. He was called to the Alberta Bar in 2021.
