Gabriel Di Genova Presents on “Commercial Lease Litigation During the Pandemic” in Collaboration with the AICJQ

On Saturday, September 25, in collaboration with the Association of Italian-Canadian Jurists of Quebec (AICJQ), Me Gabriel Di Genova presented a conference on “Commercial Lease Litigation During the Pandemic”, touching on, among other:

• pandemic-related restrictions and peaceable enjoyment of commercial premises;
• typical process and recourses in a monetary commercial lease dispute (the road to obtaining a safeguard order and beyond);
• basic principles of the safeguard order; and
• government aid in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Over 75 lawyers and notaries participated in the virtual presentation.
