KRB Advises Leyad on Major Acquisition of Niagara’s Pen Centre

Congratulations to our client, Leyad, on its acquisition of the Pen Centre in St. Catharines — one of the largest retail real estate transactions in the Niagara Region in recent years.

Described by CEO Henry Zavriyev as a “transformational acquisition,” the Pen Centre is a premier retail destination, attracting over 8 million visitors annually and anchored by top national retailers.

Leyad plans to maintain and enhance the property’s role as a commercial hub while exploring mixed-use redevelopment opportunities, including the potential for thousands of multi-residential units.
